Full of nonsense and fun, if you like the movie you'll love the book. Don't be fooled as I was, this book is NOT written by S. Morgentern, abridged by William Goldman. It's written by William Goldman. All of the 'story within the story', about William Goldman's wife and son is also fiction. Ingeniouse, realy, but it fools I don't know how many people. I wouldn't bother reading the 'first chapter of the second book', (which dosn't exist) it was rather dissapointing to me. Other than that, it's good verses evil, with pirates, sword fights, giants, an evil count and love conquers all. Even death.

Waysideflower, how do you know that Morganstern didn't write it? It's not that I don't believe you, I have just spent so much of my life believing in this Morganstern fellow. It would be very disappointing if he didn't exist.
And to anyone else out there: IF Morganstern DID write it...when? I can't find any information on the original publishing date, which is part of why I might believe Waysideflower.
