Capitol Kitty has always been the top cat around the California State House. I am "L" thinks this book is Worth Reading.
If you and a little one are planning a trip out to Sacramento, CA or live in California... then perhaps I would recommend this book. The story incorporates a bit of what the state capitol is and what goes on there, it's just enough to get a tiny one interested. It is written by the former Governor's wife... and it kind of shows. It is a bit wordy for a picture book. I was reading it out loud and noticed it had a kind of awkward flow to it. The illustrations are really fun, I think the little one's really like them.
